2. List 5 songs you like that start with that letter
3. Post them to your journal with these instructions
sharikkamurgave me A
Anchorage by Michelle Shocked. That style of music is very much of my formative mid-teen years- girl with guitar, and there were a whole lot of 'em.
All I wanna do by Sheryl Crow. A song which brings back to me the first summer with
ormsweird, sitting stationary (in the sun) in traffic for the Bridge. A nice, summery, relaxed slacker song
Autumn Almanac by the Kinks. On a similar slackery note, but with more evocative lyrics
Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer. Had to have a local lad in
Ace of Spades by either Motorhead (Thanks for the correction), or Hayseed Dixie. I love 'em both.

1.Cnoc Na Feille - Runrig. No idea what they are saying, but I love it :>
2.(The) Cutter - Runrig. This one I do understand.
3.Crusader - Chris de Burgh. Totally historically inaccurate, but a wonderful song!
4.Can I play with Madness - Iron Maiden. Had to have at least one Maiden song in the list.
5.Cat's in the Cradle - Ugly Kid Joe version.

Date: 2008-07-07 10:29 pm (UTC)D.I.V.O.R.C.E. - Billy Connelly. One of the first singles I bought.
Don't stand so close to me - The Police. I wasn't too keen on them when they were popular but their music has grown on me since then.
Don't let the sun go down on me - The Roger Daltry version from The Lost Boys, which is one of my favourite motorway albums.
Diamonds are forever - Shirley Bassey. This is one of only three karaoke songs I've ever sung. I sang it in the correct key and hit all the right high notes.
(The) Devil went down to Georgia - Charlie Daniels. Another one from my early youth. I think it was the fiddle solos that really did it for me.
