So.... somethings been nagging at my mind these last couple of weeks, now I'm working more centrally in London, and commuting. I start when it's dark, and it's usually dark when I get home. That, I'm used to, but the tube is also pretty empty when I go, and usually when I come back.

I finally worked it out today. Neverwhere. The work itself is a definate London-above, but the actual commute has that definate slightly surreal air to it that makes me wonder whether I'm going to pump into Door (Yes please!), Old Bailey (no thanks!), or the Marquis de Carrabais.

Frankly, it's very odd. Or maybe it's just chronic sleep deprivation!

Padraig and Elsa described it to me, as we drove from London to Raglan, and were passing stops they'd heard of.

I in turn have passed it on to Terafan, because we were on the Tube on Monday, and I had to explain how the story has given me a new way to look at the Underground.

I guess in N. London you have to steer clear of the Seven Sisters...

Which is good advice regardless :-)

Yes, I read it already. I picked up a second hand copy some years ago in a dangerous bookshop in Northumbria called 'Barter Books'. I do want a copy of the DVDs sometime, but....

...thanks for the thought :)

Um. It was actually bend_gules we were buying it for... Because of the Raglan stuff, you know. Sorry for being unclear. But we love you too! So here's a gift just for you: http://www.wetspotsmusic.com/music-videos.html (probably not work safe)

It's actually a very good story, and Hwyl Bennett, in particular is awesomely good!

I also just realised that the heroine was also the heroine in Casanova, and in 'A Knights Tale'
