Registrar.... ish
Apr. 29th, 2006 09:06 pmOkay, a reg job has invited me to interview. First for almost a year, so a great relief. Less groovy is the fact that it's a 'Trust Registrar' post, which basically means it's not educationally approved, so I shall be treading with great caution, and such- especially as it has a 3 month notice period. The plus side would be far more fixed working arrangements. A potentially lethal down side would be the potential for a massive (even unaffordable) pay cut, since it doesn't appear to have any on-call arrangements- a situation from which 1/3 of my salary currently comes! The advert and job description are so mind breakingly vague, unfortunately, that I just don't know. Hrm.
Anyway, interview May 12th, and I'll probably go and see them before then, if I can scrounge a day to do so in.
