Date: 2005-02-13 11:22 pm (UTC)You might find his pseudo-Byzantine books better than the more popular series you seem to be reading. As his Ph.D. was in Byzantine history, they should be OK. Look for the Videssos books and Agent of Byzantium. There may be others, as that's the extent of my Turtledove reading. Pete used the Videssos books as inspiration for his most recent game, Bad Moon Rising.
