Of all the things I hate most about the recent trend towards working shifts, it's the changeover days, like today, when I finished work at 22.15 last night, and had over an hours drive in order to get home, and then had to be back in work this morning at 08.30 after 90+ minutes drive in. *yawn*. Hope I'm not too knackered to enjoy tonight- Ormsweird is cooking a spectacular anniversary meal (5 years married- it hardly seems any time at all. I'm still amazed she manages to put up with me!), before dragging me off to the borders tomorrow for a night away from it all.

Other than that, just a few bits of maintenance to do. Sent off my first MSc assignment yesterday, so that's one bit of debris cleared out of the way- if I never read another paper about Myofibroblasts or wound contraction again in my life (or the next one, if appropriate) it'll be too soon. And you can bet that it won't be.

No sign of a new job yet, but things work out, so, we'll see.

You're not the only one who's amazed that your woman's managing to put up with you ya know... I'm amazed Steph managed to cope with me for a whole year already.
