Neverwhere...
Oct. 17th, 2006 07:22 pmSo.... somethings been nagging at my mind these last couple of weeks, now I'm working more centrally in London, and commuting. I start when it's dark, and it's usually dark when I get home. That, I'm used to, but the tube is also pretty empty when I go, and usually when I come back.
I finally worked it out today. Neverwhere. The work itself is a definate London-above, but the actual commute has that definate slightly surreal air to it that makes me wonder whether I'm going to pump into Door (Yes please!), Old Bailey (no thanks!), or the Marquis de Carrabais.
Frankly, it's very odd. Or maybe it's just chronic sleep deprivation!
