Booooooooooooooooooooored
Mar. 21st, 2004 06:02 pmWell, it's been a while since I've posted, so I think I'll give a generalised update.
I think I've made it known that I've moved jobs back to Dundee, and generally speaking, it's great- doing more senior (and therefore interesting) work, less of the junior (and extremely boring) work, albeit for the same salary.
Now, the _down_ side is that I'm operating. What's the catch I hear you ask? Well, unfortunately, the pecking order of Plastic Surgery in the general scheme of things is such that if anyone else needs the anaesthetist more than I do (and generally, they do), then I don't get to operate. So, over this entire weekend, I've spent hours and hours sitting around waiting for me to get my anaesthetist back. The really galling thing is that if I could have just done my operations, I could have headed back home until needed :(
instead of which, i get to sit here, and wait. and wait. And wait.
Ah well... Ormsweird's probably bored having me around so much ;)
