Weighty subjects...

hobbitommWell, getting ready for the marathon-interview-a-thon, where this afternoon, I'm driving down to Cheltenham, to stay with Kevin and Mary, before completing my trip to Swansea the next morning. Interview there, and a look around the unit, show my face, that sort of thing, then a drive up to Hull, for an overnight stay, followed by another interview on Friday. Then driving back home, and working all weekend. THEN an interview in Dundee on Monday.
Blah. Still, at least my collegues are kindly covering my shifts today, tomorrow and Friday, which they could have been difficult about but were immediately 'Yeah, no problem'. Which is very nice.
Swansea are interviewing me a week early, since their interview date planned would clash with Dundee, and I can't be in both at the same time, so they won't make me an offer until Monday at the earliest, if they like me, but Hull concievably _could_ offer me the job on Friday, which would be tricky, since I actually _want_ the Dundee job, so I guess I'll have to ask them if I can have till Tuesday to think about it. Blah.
If only Dundee hadn't delayed their interview from this last monday, I'd know by now if they wanted me or not. Damn nuisance all the way around, and not keen either on the amount of driving involved in this little trip, or the prospect of having 6 months (again!) living away from the cats (oh, and Claire ;). Ho hum. Fingers crossed for Dundee.
Oh yes, the weighty part. As you may (or may not) know, C and I are on the Atkins, and I weighed myself today (not due to until Saturday, but the weekend here is so horrendous that I may well not get the chance)- I've lost 1kg (2lb) since Saturday, which I think is pretty good. Only another 12kg (or thereabouts) to go ;(
