Hey, the US doesn't get a bank holiday on Monday. (Of course we had one back on the 4th, so that probably counts against us.)

No day off for me on Monday and there are loads of people I spoke to who work in Edinburgh and Stirling who don't have a day off either.

And with the bus strike in Edinburgh, I'm sure commuters could have done with the day off as well...

well... not that this would make any difference to you, but we don't have a holiday tomorrow in india either. but then, we get about 2 dozen religious holidays to compensate :-)
