If I may, I would like Phillipa Gregory's Other Boleyn Girl and Anne Tyler's A Slipping Down Life. If you think I would like the Mary Gentle novel, then throw that in as well.

Happy Pancake Day... What are YOU giving up for Lent? [Besides reading, apparently...]

I'll happily take:

Jeff Noon, Pollen

off your hands - you going to be in Ireland anytime soon, or shall we just trust it to SCA post in some way?

I'm trying to convince everyone to put their contact details into a friends-locked post and then put that into their memories marked "my address" or similar title.

Maybe after I start sewing I will actually get involved in the SCA and actually SEE you :P

It's more of a money issue... we're too broke to go to events, especially as it's all out of town and we still have no car but the train sucks for wheelchairs.

But once I get the sewing stuff set up and the lounge room organized I might host A&S nights. And there was one person in thamesreach who really totally rubbed me the wrong way when I was first interested in joining the shire. But they're no longer here. (I think, or going to be leaving -- whatever, they are not around)
